Implementation Research for Better HIV and NCD Care

HIVE is structured into six Work Packages (WPs) that work hand-in-hand to achieve scientific, technical, and social impact. Each WP contributes to building a complete picture of integrated, patient-centred care.

WP1

Project Coordination and Management

Ensures smooth coordination, transparent governance, and compliance with Horizon Europe standards. Oversees communication, quality, and reporting.

WP2

Implementation Research and Evidence Generation

Builds the scientific foundation for integrating NCD care into HIV services. Maps current practices, identifies challenges, and develops tailored solutions.

WP3

mHealth Platform Development and Adaptation

Help launch 30 startups and create 25 clean tech jobs by 2030.

WP4

Interpersonal Counselling (IPC) and Psychosocial Integration

Brings the human touch to digital health — offering counselling and psychosocialsupport to strengthen wellbeing and engagement.

WP5

Piloting, Validation, and Evaluation

Tests the integrated care model in real-world healthcare settings, ensuring its efficiency, sustainability, and impact on patients’ quality of life.

WP6

Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication

Spreads the word, shares the knowledge. Promotes results through events, publications, and digital tools to ensure long-term uptake beyond the project’s lifetime.
